What is a step and repeat?
Basically a Step and Repeat Banner is a backdrop display that has one or more sponsor logos repeated in a step or diagonal alternating pattern.
The purpose of a step and repeat backdrop is to emphasize a brand name, company logo or sports team name during media press conferences, red carpet events and special events. The step and repeat backdrop banner is designed for photo opportunities.
“Step-and-repeat” comes from the photoshop term used for the process of duplicating an object and spacing.

Can you help me with hanging or displaying my banner or board?
We provide hardware to display your banner or board and include easy, step-by-step directions. We can do installations in the Los Angeles county area. Feel free to call us if you have any questions setting up your step and repeat banner or board.

What is the turnaround time for a step and repeat order?
We work for the film industry. Most of our orders are rush. We specialize in making projects go right and making our client's deadline. Let us know when it is due and we'll make it go right. In general, allow 1-3 days for printing and approximately 5 business days for shipping.
What’s the difference between boards and banners?
Step and repeat boards are printed on vinyl and mounted to a sturdy board. Banners are printed on a high-quality, 13 oz banner material and can be sewn, hemmed and have grommets applied. Boards are rigid materials and are generally in 4' x 8' sections.
How long will my banner or board last?
We use Roland printers using EcoSolvet inks that produce long lasting water resistant products. An addition, the banner material we use for step and repeat backdrops are very durable & strong. Outdoor backdrops generally last 1-3 years. Indoor backdrops can last a very long time, depending on the care taken to preserve them.
How do I pay for my step and repeat order?

What are the banner stand poles made out of ?
They are made out of a metal. Black powder coated steel to be exact.
What kind of material is the banner?
The banner we use for step and repeat backdrops is called 13 oz. scrim banner. It is a strong yet flexible heavy-duty, durable banner material. It is tear-resistant, matte, opaque and it gives good color brilliance. Click here to find out more about Scrim Banners.
What resolution should the logos be?
Please send the highest-resolution files you have (preferrably vector .eps files).
Any other files are fine as long as the resolution is good.
300 dpi (dots per inch) at 14" wide is extremely good resolution.
72 dpi at 14" wide is good resolution.
Any dpi lower than 72 will pixelate and look fuzzy.
